Baker Furniture Co. (American, founded 1903), second half 20th century. Louis XV style walnut wood bureau plat or desk with three black leather inset writing surfaces with tooled and gilt borders on rectangular top above central pull out drawer flanked by two short pull out drawers on each side, all with brass bale pulls, fluted stiles above brass capital rings on fluted tapered legs terminating on brass capped feet. Marked on interior of top right drawer with oval metal label reading "Baker Furniture". Overall approximate height 30.25", width 60.25", depth 30".
