A sterling console bowl or center bowl with cobalt glass insert of ovular form raised on four stepped feet with acanthus scrolls and foliate swags at knee, the whole with floral swags joined by ribbon bows set between ovular medallions on a reticulated ground, each end with a lion's mask ring handle. Underside with impressed marks "800" beside lion rampant mark, an unknown mark, and maker's mark for Georg Roth. Approximate height 4.25", width 10", depth 7.25".
