Pair of George IV period salt glazed stoneware apothecary jars of cylindrical form with fitted black painted iron lids above ceramic body with Royal Coat of Arms below ribbon with black text on gilt ribbon, further adored with birds and leaves. One container reading "SOD: SULPHAS", the other for "ACID TART". Overall approximate height 8.75", diameter of top 7". Provenance: From the Estate of Dr. Woody Cobbs and Mrs. Honor Cobbs, Atlanta, Georgia.
