Pennsylvania painted poplar chest of drawers, ca. 1815 , retaining its original red and black decorated surface, 44" h., 42" w. A chest by the same decorator was found in Lobachsville, Berks County, and was sold during the Paul Flack collection, Pennypacker Auctions, April 12, 1976, lot 162.
