Chinese, late 19th/ early 20th century Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). A porcelain charger or low bowl of round form with intricate underglaze blue hand painted decoration on white ground with a central dontdo bearing four cartouches of landscape motif surrounding a chrysanthemum blossom, the tondo issuing radiating lappets bearing single flower stems and further issuing larger lappets bearing alternating chrysanthemum and peony stems, the exterior walls with three meandering leafy vines.
