American, early 20th century. A painted copper sculpture in the form of a flattened full figure large fish, possibly a trout, with oxidation and paint remnants allover to the body, the fish form likely removed from a weather vane and mounted to a later organically shaped wooden base. Unmarked. Approximate height 8.625", length 18.5"., depth 5.5". Provenance: acquired by the Estate of Dr. Woody Cobbs and Mrs. Honor Cobbs, Atlanta, Georgia.
