Sam Lurie (American, 20th century). "Snowbound" - 1964 and "Hoo Me? - 1965, two woodcuts on paper, each pencil titled lower left margin, pencil signed and dated lower right margin. A group of two woodblock prints, one depicting a wintertime landscape with a stream running horizontally at center with snowy bank to foreground and a tree and fence lined bank to background with houses in distance, the other on red paper in black ink depicting an owl in full length. Snowbound framed approximately 14.75" x 17.75", image size approximately 9.75" x 11.875". Hoo me? sheet size approximately 18.75" x 11.25".
