Chinese, 20th century. A brown Yixing Zisha pottery teapot of squat cylindrical form with a concave band around body bearing a line of calligraphic marks to one side and flowering branch and bird to alternate side, with bamboo form loop handle to one end opposed by straight bamboo form spout, the round lid with bamboo form finial. Underside of lid and body both with impressed calligraphic marks. Approximate height 3.5", spout to handle 7.25".
