American, 20th Century. Two Silver Crest bronze with sterling overlay vases, one large with sterling stylized applied art deco motif on a bronze baluster form vase, impressed mark and shape #1025 (height 16.6"). The smaller squat vase with art nouveau style flower. impressed mark and shape #3670, pat Aug 27. 1912. (height 6.6"). Silver Crest was the trademark used by the Smith Metal Arts Company of Buffalo; expert craftsman from the Heintz Art Metal Shop formed the new company in 1919, utilizing much of what they had learned, manufacturing incredible bronze items. Heintz Art Metal Shop was founded in 1906, in New York by Otto Heintz. They discontinued their works in 1935._x000D_
