Charley Kinney (American (Kentucky), 1906-1991). "Wild Cat Wild", mixed media on paper, titled and signed lower left of center. Folk art painting depicting a black cat with yellow face, wide open eyes, and long red tongue extending from its mouth while chasing a rat or mouse, set to a blue background with titled inscribed to lower left as part of the composition. Framed approximately 38" x 32". Sheet size approximately 22" x 28". Provenance: From the Private Collection of Ann Jacob of Highlands, North Carolina. Note: alternate spelling of artist's name is Charles Kinney.
