Faberge (Russian, founded 1842) style gold wash silver and enamel cigarette box (also called cigarette case, cigarette holder) with vesta (also called match safe, match case, matchbox, match box). Cigarette case with rounded rectangular form, hinged lid decorated with burnt orange, green, blue and gray enamel flower and leaf ornaments, with tribal style patterning, with vesta with hinged lid. Stamped on interior bottom with 84 zolotnik mark indicating silver, with city arms indicating St. Petersburg; with maker’s mark PJS. Stamped on interior lid with 84 zolotnik indicating silver, with city arms indicating St. Petersburg; with additional maker’s mark PJS. Stamped on vesta lid with city arms indicating St. Petersburg. Approximately 4” x 2.5” x 0.6”. Total weight 198 grams.
