Julian Falat (Polish/ Austrian, 1853-1929). "Polish Church", watercolor on paper laid down on artist's board, signed lower right. Genre scene painting depicting three figures in traditional clothing walking toward the viewer on a dirt path leading away from a wooden church with tall pyramidal tiered roof typical of the medieval architecture in Southern Lesser Poland, the building surrounded by tall green trees and a meadow. Framed approximately 18.5" x 15.5". Unframed approximately 13" x 9.875".
