Russian, early 20th century. Faberge style silver with gold-wash and cloisonné enamel Easter egg box. Box with ovoidal egg form with brilliant blue, kelly green, periwinkle blue, white and burnt orange cloisonné depicting floral motif with small flowers and c scroll patterns forming larger flowers, with burnt orange cloisonné XB (Cyrillic for “Christ is Risen”) on bottom, with garnet cabochon on top, with gold washed interior. Stamped on lip with oval containing 84 zolotnik indicating silver, with head facing right indicating production after 1908, with triangular delta symbol indicating Moscow; with additional square mark containing indistinct maker’s mark, possibly HC. Stamped on interior with oval containing84 zolotnik with head facing right, with triangular delta symbol indicating Moscow. Overall approximate height 3”, approximate width 2”. Overall approximate weight 126 grams.
