Russian, likely early 20th century. Faberge (Russian, founded 1842) style silver and cloisonné enamel egg box with hand painted details. Box has ovoidal egg form with blue, green, purple, pink and white cloisonné decoration depicting large and small flowers, foliage and scrolls, with large dragonfly at crest of egg, with gold wash interior, supported by separable circular stand with dolphin form legs. Stamped on lip with 84 indicating silver, with city arms indicating St. Petersburg; with maker’s mark H3 possibly for MIKHAIL ZORIN. Approximate height with stand 4.25”, approximate diameter of egg opening 3.8”, width of stand 3.5”. Total weight of egg without stand 211 grams.
