British School, late 18th / early 19th century. "Fox Hunt with Brew House", watercolor on paper laid down, apparently unsigned. Figural sporting painting depicting wooded fox hunt scene with multiple mounted hunt followers wearing traditional red hunting coats (known as "pinks") and black riding hats, three hunt followers on horseback, one with riding crop held over his head, with one hunt follower leading his horse on foot, with a group of hounds at the horses' feet, with a beer brewery, or brew house, in the background. Framed approximately 19.4" x 25". Unframed approximately 16.75" x 22.4". Provenance: Property of the Estate of Dr. Woody Cobbs and Mrs. Honor Cobbs, Atlanta, Georgia.
