$900
Attributed to Harry & Lou Epstein (British, 1895 - 1970), circa 1930s. An Art Deco birds eye maple cocktail sideboard having a fluted, bow fronted central cabinet with drop down front and hinged lid opening to reveal a raised cocktail cabinet with rose tinted mirrored interior and matching slide out tray, having a Secure Lever locking mechanism above a single drawer and pair of cupboard doors opening to a compartment suitable for bottles. Both side cabinets fitted with glass tops and opening to a short drawer over a single shelf, the right cabinet short drawer fitted for flatware with green baize lining; both doors with ASRO locking mechanisms. Cabinet appears to retain original stylized streamlined Bakelite door pulls. All raised on a conforming plinth base. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height with glass top 38", width 60", depth 20". Note: Sideboard is part of a dining suite. See Lot #1110 for the dining table and Lot #1108 for the set of Dining Chairs. Provenance: Purchased from Kipling Antques located on Roswell Road in Buckhead, Georgia over 20 years ago.
