Svend Toxværd (Danish, first half 20th century). A set of 63 pieces of solid silver flatware in an Art Deco pattern, the handles with a tripartite motif resembling a skyscraper. Set comprising 8 dinner forks (7.75"), 15 demitasse spoons (5"), 2 master butter knives (8.125"), 2 tablespoons (7"), 3 tablespoon serving spoons (8"), 1 large serving spoon (9"), 1 ladle (7"), 2 medium serving spoons (8.25" and 8.125"), 1 bottle opener (4.75"), 7 teaspoons (5.5"), 5 individual flat butter knives (6.25"), 2 luncheon forks (7"), 12 dessert or salad forks (5.5"), one sugar spoon (4.5"), and 1 boullion spoon (5.75"). Some pieces with maker's mark "Sv.T" for Svend Toxyaerd - 2 dinner forks with maker's mark for L. Berth. Each piece with an assay mark from Jens Sigsgaard (1932-1960), Christian F. Heise (1904-1932), or with an unknown assay mark "E M". Each piece with 3 tower mark for Copenhagen (indicating 0.826-0.830 purity) with various dates from the 1930s and 1950s.
