French, 19th century. Cast and patinated bronze clock with circular dial with white enameled circular hour markers with black Arabic numbers encircled by leaf and berry border on tree trunk form with resting wooden walking staff and woolen satchel with musical pipes resting therein, standing nude man with curled hair and beard with woven hat resting on back holding a young nude baby in bent arm resting against cascading drape and feeding him with rounded bowl. Figure standing on a rectangular base with naturalistic ground with flowers, plants and grasses above a marble plinth above a lappet and leaf tip border surmounting black painted wood plinth. Hinged door on back of clock to access movement-- apparently unmarked. Sculpture unsigned. Overall approximate height 20.25", width 11.25", depth 7.125".
