Jose style rosewood stained commode or chest having a serpentine molded top over a conforming case with two drawers, each having individual locking mechanisms and ornate hardware and escutcheons, the scrolled, shaped apron centered by a pierced shell, the sides with similar ornament, on cabriole legs terminating on scrolled toes on pads. Approximate height 37.5", width 43.5", depth 25.25".
