Spanish Colonial, 19th century. A fine polychrome wood and bone santos figure carved in the round depicting a man standing barefoot in full length draped in green dress with orange cloak and waist sash, the figure striding forward on bare feet with hands extended and resting on an ochre square carved base with acanthus leaf scrolls and gadroon band, the figure's head and hands in carved bone. Approximate height 29.75", width 20", depth 12.5".
