Attributed to John Rathbone (English, 1750-1807), "Pastoral English Landscape", oil on canvas, apparently unsigned. Horizontally oriented figural pastoral landscape painting depicting woman and fisherman picnicking near a pond where three fishermen in a small wooden boat cast their lines, with lush foliage in the foreground, with rolling hills and pastures in the background, with blue skies overhead. Framed approximately 31.25" x 40.25". Unframed approximately 25" x 34".
