American, 19th century. A Matched pair Federal style parcel gilt and patinated bronze twin light wall sconces, the back plate modeled as a gilded feathered eagle perched upon laurel wrapped quivers and a sphere issuing two scrolled candlearms and gadrooned candle cup fitted with an acorn pull chain and simulated wax candlesleeve (both later). Sockets are both marked 'BRYANT'. Approximate height 11", width 9.75", depth 6".
