Probably Euorpean, early 20th century. An Art Nouveau copper and iron coal bin with liner, the dome shaped lid centered with iron handle with naturalistic style mounts over the trapezoidal shaped body decorated to the front with a repousse stylized tulip decoration, the seams along the edges secured with rivets, the sides mounted with iron handles with a removable handled liner to the interior. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 19.5", width 14.8", depth 15".Provenance: From the Estate of Dr. Woody Cobbs and Mrs. Honor Cobbs, Atlanta, Georgia.
