Notturno Intarsio (Italian (Sorrento), 20th century. A five piece marquetry inlaid wood games table and chair set comprising a square table with chamfered corners raised on four serpentine legs with straight apron bearing shallow drawers to each of the four sides, with colorful inlay to top, drawers, and legs of flowers and musical instruments, the table top with underside bearing a chess or checker board and lifting off to reveal a green felted card playing surface which flips over to be a backgammon board, the next underlayer being an extendable roulette table with heavy wheel at center and two small game boards at either side. Table accompanied with four coordinating side chairs each raised on four serpentine legs with shaped seat bearing further floral and instrument inlay and issuing two splayed side supports for an openwork shaped back bearing coordinating inlay. Accompanied with various game equipment including dice, cards, dice cups, chess pieces, poker chips, and poker chip sorter. Table height approximately 29.375". Tabletop approximately 36.5" square. Length of extended roulette table approximately 55.25". Chair approximate overall height 35", width 18.875", depth 19.5", seat height 18", seat depth 15.75".
