Italian, Early 20th century. Renaissance Revival style carved and stained walnut bookshelf or bookcase with rectangular top with floral decorated egg and dart border above rail with facial mask at center of scrolled foliates above three open shelves flanked by lion's head mounts above guilloche carved stiles with leaf tips at bottom, flared gadrooned and leaf tip apron, overall supported on large lion's paw feet at front, block feet at back. Verso of bookcase with two vintage labels that read "Bott. Giuseppe Saggio". Overall approximate height 40", width 37", depth 13.75".
