C. M. Cohr (Danish (Fredericia), 1860-1987). A modernist sterling silver teapot of squat form with straight spout to one side opposed by d-form sterling and ebonized wood handle, the tall neck on top surmounted by slightly flaring rim, the round lid with ebonized wood finial. Underside of body with maker's mark "Cohl", standard marks "925" and "STERLING", and "Denmark". Approximate height 5.75", spout to handle 9.75". Approximate weight 21.8 troy ounces. Provenance: From the Estate of Inger Andersen.
