Impressionist style abstracted landscape painting with drawn elements depicting rolling green hills of the French countryside with green fields dotted with trees, with blue skies overhead. Verso of structure with label containing item description beside additional label containing biographical information, and additional numerical inscriptions. Framed approximately 38.5" x 34.75". Sight approximately 13.125" x 9.75". Note: Hughes Claude Pissarro is the grandson of Camille Pissarro and son of Paulémile Pissarro. He is best known for his Impressionistic works, known collectively as ‘Petit Claude’, which have been exhibited throughout the world since 1985 and which are distinguished by their petit stature. Alternate artist spellings include: "Hugues Claude Pissarro," "H. Claude Pissarro" and " Isaac Pomié."
