French, 20th century. A Louis XV style paint decorated three drawer bombe chest or commode, the rectangular form raised on four squat cabriole legs with scrolling toes with shaped aprons to three sides with the front bearing rocaille decoration in relief, the swelled sides with inset panels, the front bearing three wide drawers with two shaped cartouches surrounding scrolling bronze handle pulls and flanking central bronze escutcheons with floral motif, the whole painted in clair de lune blue with cream accents. Approximate height 31.5", width 45.5", depth 22.25".
