Flemish, French, and Dutch (16th-18th centuries). A collection of six small stained and painted glass panels mounted in a later custom wooden frame comprising a 17th century Flemish oval Resurrection scene in colored enamels; a 17th century Flemish oval Resurrection scene in grisaille; a horizontal oval scene, possibly from the Studio of Wouter Crabeth I (Dutch, 15010-1590), depicting an unidentified figural scene; a 16th century French rectangular panel depicting an angel holding a lute; an early 16th century Flemish roundel depicting the Autumn Laborer sowing in the fields; and an 18th century Dutch rectangular panel in four quarries depicting a naval battle. Overall approximate height 63.75", width 13.75". Individual panel approximate dimensions from top to bottom 10" x 7.5", 8" x 6", 8" x 11.75", 10" x 6.75", 9.25" diameter, 11.25" x 9.25". Provenance: each panel acquired by the Estate of Dr. Woody Cobbs and Mrs. Honor Cobbs, Atlanta, Georgia from The Monastery Stained Glass, Northamptonshire, England on September 13, 1997, June 29, 2003, February 23, 2004, or September 13, 2004. Receipt of June 29, 2003 also states that the Angel Playing Lute panel was purchased at Christie's London in December of 1998 and came from a French collection.
