Elephant motif rectangular hinged box with body covered in coconut tree bark, hinged lid opens to reveal storage within, metal label on interior back center reads "MAITLAND-SMITH", box top with baby elephant finial in cast brass metal depicting elephant standing on back feet with trunk curled, box supported on four cast brass legs in the form of elephants heads with upswept trunks. Overall approximate height 15"", width 23", depth 14". Provenance: From a Private Collection in Atlanta, Georgia.
