Modern figural painting depicting two young Mughal princesses in ornate dress and gold jewelry admiring a circular compact with makeup in an interior. Framed approximately 32.25" x 27.25". Sight size approximately 23" x 18". Provenance: Sold by Arif Rahman Chughtai (the artist's son and director of Chughtai Museum in Lehore, Pakistan to the Former United States Ambassador to Pakistan, Mr. Benjamin Oehlert, Atlanta, Georgia thence by descent to his family.
