Russian, likely early 20th century. Faberge (Russian, founded 1842) style silver souvenir cigarette box (also called cigarette case, cigarette holder). Cigarette box with rounded rectangular form, hinged lid with red glass cabochon thumb piece, with various inscriptions, with Art Deco style architectural engravings, with an enameled champagne bottle charm, with a single lemon quartz charm, with two synthetic ruby charms, with gold wash interior. Stamped on interior with 84 zolotnik indicating silver, with head facing right indicating production after 1908, with triangular delta icon indicating Moscow; with additional maker’s mark HA likely for Nikolay (Nicolai) Alexseyev. Approximate length 4.9”, approximate width including thumb piece 3.25”, approximate depth 0.4”. Total approximate weight 177.8 grams.
