Russian, 20th century. Faberge (Russian, founded 1842) style handmade silver, rose gold, diamond and guilloche enamel necklace pendant. Pendant with French Art Nouveau style tapered shield form, with ultramarine radiating pattern guilloche field at center within c scroll, foliate, and acanthus leaf border accented with diamonds in rose cuts, single cuts and old mine cuts (accent diamond color ranging from white to champagne, GIA clarity: VS2 to I2), with central diamond depicted as bulbed flower. Rose cut center stone is champagne color diamond (GIA clarity: I2, approximately 0.75 carat. Total carat weight for the piece estimated at 1.5 carats. Stamped on back with oval containing 84 zolotnik mark indicating silver, with head facing right indicating production after 1908, with “A” city maker for St. Petersburg. Stamped on bail with oval containing 56 zolotnik mark indicating 14 karat rose gold, acid tested as 14k gold quality, with head facing right indicating production after 1908, with “A” city maker for St. Petersburg; with additional oval mark containing maker's mark AB, possibly for Abraham Sholom Beilin, a known workmaster for Faberge in St. Petersburg. Overall approximately 2” x 1.5”. Total weight 18 grams.
