Ecclesiastic painting depicting a standing young John the Baptist turning edge of rocks opening up to a wooded valley standing barefoot in traditional belted animal pelt tunic with red cloth over shoulder, holding thin reed and pointing (symbolizing the path to Christianity, showing the way to salvation), right with view of idyllic valley with mountain top encircled by clouds above waterfall.
