Maryland pieced sunburst quilt, mid 19th c. , made by Mary Loman for Elias Poffenberger, with thirty circles, 90" x 104". Provenance: Descended from the family and sold at their on-site sale in Keedysville, Maryland in 1986. The family farm was part of the Civil War Antietam battlefield.
