Louis XV/XVI Transitional style walnut commode having a shaped and molded marble top over two drawers each quarter veneered with parquetry stringing and mounted with gilt bronze ribbon-tied berried laurel leaf pulls and ribbon tied escutcheon, the sides similarly veneered and inlaid, the chamfered stiles mounted with gilt bronze ram's head masks, raised on square cabriole legs united by an gilt bronze mounted apron and terminating on gilt bronze mounted foliate and paw feet. Approximate height 34.4", width 41.75", depth 20.4".
