Large Slip- and Bird-decorated Redware Plate, Pennsylvania, mid-19th century, the bird posed on a branch with trailed slip loop decoration, coggled rim, dia. 13 1/2 in. Estimate $800-1,200 There appears to be in-painting to slip loss in the bird's legs, part of the branch and at the top of one loop below.
