Red-painted Chest of Four Drawers, possibly Vermont, early 19th century, the case of scratchbeaded drawers on a cutout skirt and cutout ends, original red paint, replaced pulls, (imperfections), ht. 36, wd. 39 1/2, dp. 17 1/2 in. Estimate $400-600 shrinkage cracks to top and one end with chip at skirt, minor paint wear, faint evidence of previous two-post pulls.
