Continental, probably Italian, early 20th century. A gilt bronze and crystal twelve light chandelier having a the gilt metal wheat sheaf-form corona emanating a spray of crystal rosettes, spear points and faceted pear shaped drops further hung with draping beaded swags supported by a vasiform crystal and gilt bronze shaft issuing twelve scrolling candlearms hung with faceted prisms, pendalogues and beaded swags with scalloped drip pans surmounted with gilt bronze candlecups. Approximate height 43", diameter 23".
