Early Turned Splint-seat Chair, New England, 18th century, the curved backrest continuing to arms above turned stiles and arm supports joined by bentwood slats, on original trapezoidal splint seat and turned legs joined by double stretchers, (imperfections), ht. 33 1/2, seat ht. 17 1/2 in. Estimate $300-500 early wrought iron repair to back of crest. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
