Cherry Chest of Four Drawers, probably Connecticut, early 19th century, molded top above four cockbeaded drawers and dovetailed bracket base centering a pendant, mellow refinish, (imperfections and alterations), ht. 36, wd. 39, dp. 19 1/2 in. Estimate $200-400 may have been the bottom half of a chest-on-chest - top is rather thin and is rounded at the back edge. Top and both sides have interior dutchman joints.
