Five Dutch Brass and Copper Tobacco Boxes, Holland, 18th and 19th century, each oval with inscribed decoration, lg. 5 1/2 to 7 in. Provenance: The estate of George Way. Estimate $600-800 Each with age typical defects and slight tearing to edges of the hinges. Overall all in good condition with scattered wear. one with corners worn through. All close tightly. No evidence of repairs. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
