Pair of Beechwood and Caned Louis XVI Fauteuils, France, late 18th century, oval caned back, curved armrest with leaf-carved supports, curved seat upholstered in ivory damask, turned and gilded legs, ht. 37 3/4, seat ht. 19, wd. 25, dp. 24 in. Estimate $500-700 One with break to left front leg, small break in cane, several repairs to the frames. One with stain to seat upholstery.
