Anton Rooskens (Dutch, 1906-1976) Abstract. Signed "Rooskens4" l.r. Gouache, crayon, ink, and watercolor on paper, 11 5/8 x 8 1/8 in., unmatted, unframed. Condition: Two small tears to u.l. edge, gentle staining to the perimeter of the paper, crease to l.r. corner. The property of Erik Exner Estimate $250-350 Regarding the two small tears to the upper portion of the left edge, the upper tear measures approximately 3/16 inch, and the lower tear measures approximately 5/16 inch. The staining to the perimeter is pale. There are small nicks to the lower edge at right and the upper edge at left. There is a dog-ear crease to the lower right corner, and there are very small dog-ear creases to the other corners. There is a diagonal crease measuring apporximately 1 inch at lower right. There are scattered handling creases. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
