Blue and White Dish, China, possibly 17th/18th century, low bowl form with flaring rim, decorated with a scholar under a pine on the inteior, the exterior with two orchids, four-character "Jing quan jia qi" mark in a double ring on base, ht. 1 3/8, dia. 4 7/8 in. Provenance: Mary Andrews Wolff Collection; then by descent to the present owner. Estimate $1,500-2,500 a chip to mouth rim, minor glazing flaws with pockmarks, tiny surface scratches on the interior.
