Powder Blue and Gilt Jar, China, 18th/19th century, oval with a short bisque neck, resting on a bisque foot ring, traces of gilt phoenix or dragon on the exterior, white-glazed interior and base, openwork wood stand and cover, ht. 8 1/2 in. Provenance: Mary Andrews Wolff Collection. Estimate $800-1,200 extensive gilt losses, numerous fine surface scratches to the exterior, firing flaws with pockmarks to the interior.
