Pair of Famille Rose Vases, China, early 20th century, baluster form with long slanted sides, waisted neck, and dish-form mouth, decorated with a bird and flower design, four-character "Shen de tang zhi" mark (apocryphal) on base, ht. to 13 3/8 in. Estimate $800-1,200 minor firing crack to the interior of one, some glazing flaws with pockmarks and bumps. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
