Condition: Area of test cleaning to l.l. corner, scattered very minor abrasions and paint losses, varnish discoloration. Provenance: A New Jersey estate. Estimate $800-1,200 Under UV examination there is fluorescence which appears to be dirty varnish overall, but there is probably some old retouch to the sails of both vessels, more noticeable in the vessel in the mid-ground. Framed dimensions are 21 1/4 x 27 3/8 x 1 1/2 inches. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
