Condition: Cockling, wear to corners, small tear to u.l. edge, minor soiling to u.r. quadrant. Provenance: The Stebbins family collection, Massachusetts, purchased from the artist in Vienna in 1982. Estimate $1,500-2,500 Although the work has not been removed from its frame the full sheet is visible and the work is floated within the frame. There is a very soft bend or crease near the previously mentioned tear, plus several crimps or creases along the left edge. There are no further visible issues to mention. The frame is 21 3/4 x 26 3/4 x 1 3/4 in. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
