Robert Josarama (Zimbabwean, contemporary). "Elephants at Play", carved and polished stone with carved bone, signed to base. Well rendered tabletop sculpture depicting three African elephants, one adult and two adolescents, at play in a ring with trunks high and carved bone tusks intertwined, their skin with highly naturalistic rough texture, all set to a natural landscape modeled integral base. Approximate height 14.5" x 18" x 15". Provenance: From the Private Collection of Ann Jacob of Highlands, North Carolina.
